Dennis de Graaf is the Founder and CEO of GrowdZen, a digital blog about growing businesses online. Dennis has successfully developed and operated multiple SaaS (Software as a Service) businesses and has scaled many of them to 6 and 7 figure profit levels. Dennis is a very approachable, friendly guy that always is prepared to help others out. So… Let’s talk about GrowdZen and what we can do for you and your business.
You are probably looking to grow your business online, either for a brick & mortar business or online business. As you might already have noticed the internet marketing scene is a very crowded place. Every day new products and services get released, it has become very hard to stick out.
In order to stick out, there is honestly one golden rule. Make sure you focus on the specific effort, measure your success and keep testing. Hitting a grand slam at the first try is very unlikely, just remember to keep trying and fail your way to success. And this is exactly where my value to you comes into play, I have failed often and frequently, and will help you prevent mistakes before you even make them.
I personally have failed in so many ways online, 14 years of extremely hard work have “paid off” and resulted in:
- 80 hour work weeks
- No holidays for years
- Getting my work stolen by (ex-)partners that have gone on to sell my work for multiple 6 figures
- Next to no recognition for my work and efforts

- Having to take multiple jobs in order to pay my bills and debts
And frankly a lot more of these “amazing benefits”….
So what’s up with this loser’s story? And why would this benefit me?
I’ll tell you, since my 14 years of blood, sweat and tears have not been in vain.
After each and every failure that I had, I took a while to reflect on my errors and mistakes. Allot of mistakes were made but I made sure to never repeat those mistakes again, and now 14 years later I am considered one of the most experienced online business owners within the internet marketing scene.
Due to my many personal mistakes and a lot of failed projects I started to quickly grow more experienced, persistent and focussed.
Basically, I learned the very hard lesson that failing and failing often is the only way to master a craft. As Thomas Edison said it:

After my (ex-) business partner stole the latest project that I had developed for over 2 years straight (without any pay), I decided it was time to venture out on my own. I had to stop being reliant on third parties.
That’s when GrowdZen was born
While being really pissed off about the injustice and greed that rule this (and many other) industries I decided that I wanted to prevent this sort of practices in the future (for me and like-minded people).
While I am building my business I will be sharing with you what is working, but more importantly what is not working, in my business.
